Academy Improvement Board (Governance)

What do Academy Improvement Board Members do?
Our AIB members hold academy leaders to account in a range of vitally important areas, including student outcomes and quality of education, and careful oversight of student behaviour, attendance, and student and staff wellbeing.
AIB members volunteer their time to help ensure we are working at our best, and it is a key responsibility to make sure that our schools understand the needs of their communities and that everyone who has an interest in the school is able to make their voice heard when decisions are being made.
As well as recruiting AIB members from our local communities, parents are welcome to apply for a role as a parent AIB member. This exciting opportunity offers training and guidance to allow you to become an active member of our Academy Improvement Board and school community.
